A spooky lunch time gap floated past so got a Halloween image.
Spot count is up due to loads of smaller AR.
Solar activity is returning to low levels. None of the small spots on the sun today pose a threat for strong flares.

First safety shot today was the only one today, so here is cloudy early Sun.
None of the sunspots on the sun's visible disk pose a threat for flares. However, during the next 24 hours, a much more active sunspot is expected to appear over the sun's SE limb. It could be the return of old sunspot complex AR12172-AR12173.
