Last day of the Month and got an early image before the clouds rolled in for the day, seeing was not to good but at least the clouds parted in the evening enough to see the Moon.
None of these sunspots has the type of unstable magnetic field that harbors energy for strong solar flares. Solar activity remains very low.

Early morning image today as I spy clouds rolling in, which brought rain and winds again....Must have missed Summer this year.
Sunspot AR12390 has a 'beta-gamma' magnetic field that harbors energy for M-class solar flares. However, the sunspot is being quiet and solar activity is low.

In Memory of Walter Koch (Swisswalter)
There must have been a reason for me to keep setting up on Monday to catch a gap even though it was high winds and driving rain, yet managed to get a very cloudy sad looking Sun.
Then sadly found out everybody's dear friend Walter had passed away on the morning of the 27th, so I dedicate this image taken on the sad day to my friend.....RIP...you will be missed...
