Full Disc overview for May 2012, 20 days out of 31

Hi all, forecast was light cloud, so got a quick shot first thing. Glad I did, as later in the day it was nearly 100% cloud and very heavy rain storms, with added thunder....

Hi all, had a super Birthday  (quiet, so must be getting old), anywhoo... Sun out nearly all day, beautifull Sunset and Moon lit evening.....

So here is the Sun in White light, Sinlge shot with the Canon 1000D, ISO 100 at 1/100 sec, using the Lunt 2" wedge on the ED 80, with ND3,UV/IR and Continuum Filters.

 Hi all, very cloudy here on Monday, but between the clouds managed to capture a quick image.

Hi all, Fridays white light Full Disc, very cloudy, but managed to get a shot through the light clouds, which is the most I have seen on the Sun in the last few days.

Well another cloud dodging day, first thing seems to be the norm now. 7.05am for this one.

Today was a challenge, hail and high winds first thing, then just about to set off for the day, and could see a bit of blue sky blowing over, so set up and dodging the hail and being blown over, got a Single 1/80th shot of the Sun.....phew....just packed up in time for another heavy hail storm.

Well didn't think there was much chance of getting a shot at the Sun, with the rain all morning and a few breaks in the clouds. So quite pleased that about 2pm when I got home the Sun came out for a play through slight cloud, so managed to get a quick shot.

Got a bit carried away on Sunday and forgot to process the White light Full Disc, so here is Sundays Sun.

On a roll now. The clouds vanished and got a shot of the Sun

Bit of cloud dodging again this morning, but at least its stopped raining for a hour or so.
